ABOUT US
Growing up amongst bushland in the outskirts of the world’s most isolated capital city, brothers Karl and Myles Conti, found themselves enamoured by movies from a very young age.
A trip to the drive-in, or cinema providing a “window to an outside world”, both real and imagined. Where characters, places, costumes, scenery, music and stories would leap from the screen and enter their dreams.
But growing up in the 80’s, on the other side of the world, the idea of going to Hollywood, where movies were made, was as fanciful as visiting a galaxy far, far away. So the brothers made do, finding creative outlets wherever they could. These would usually involve performing in some way, on stage, at school, in shopping centres, or sometimes just in their living room for their family.
But as the century approached its end, the brothers made the move to the East Coast, settling in Sydney, at a time when films like The Matrix and Star Wars Eps 2 & 3 also came to town. They began making short films, and started regularly collaborating with other like-minded individuals. Before long, their hobby turned into paid gigs, and they began working for a number of production companies and post-houses.
2007 marked a line in the sand moment. 10 years after Myles first moved to Sydney, the brothers decided to go out on their own, and they established Conti Bros Films, a boutique, production and post company with a goal of servicing agencies and clients, whilst developing their own narrative and documentary projects.
In the years since opening their doors, Conti Bros Films has produced thousands of television commercials, short-form tv episodes, music videos, as well as a number of documentaries and award-winning short films, and have employed hundreds of artists and crew-members, whilst working all across Australia and in multiple other countries around the world.

We’re not afraid of embracing technology. In fact we welcome it with open arms. We’re constantly seeking out the latest and greatest filmmaking technology to help bring our projects to life. And because we’re flexible in our approach, we are able to adapt to any changes or challenges that come our way.
