Working with BWM Dentsu, we produced this 30sec TVC to launch Selleys’ latest product - Power Grip.
What was important to the client from the outset, was that their product actually performed as advertised. That meant that prior to shooting, we found ourselves breaking, gluing and testing the strength of multiple drum sticks.
Other challenges included creating a soundscape/music bed - that seamlessly transitioned from beginner drummer, into ponderous soundtrack before evolving into a live music drum solo - all in the space of 30 seconds. On top of this, we needed to cast a gun drummer, who could pass himself off as the brother of our lead girl, and to create a concert sized crowd out of only 20 extras.
