WRITER - DIRECTOR - EDITOR

Myles studied at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) graduating in 1997, before moving to Sydney where he began working as an actor on stage, in television and in films.

It wasn’t long however before he was drawn to the other side of the camera, writing, directing, producing and editing a number of self funded short-films and animations, leading to a career as a commercial director commencing in 2004, and being awarded an AFC director’s attachment on the feature film RAZZLE DAZZLE (2005), where he would also direct second unit.

In 2007, he founded Conti Bros Films with his brother Karl, which has since produced over 1000 television commercials, music videos as well as short-form television shows and documentaries.

He has written and directed award winning short-films, that include SOCIAL DISTANCE (2020), and DREAMWEAVER (2017), plus the one-hour documentary A VERY SHORT WAR (2010), and a 2 part television event NO FRIEND BUT THE MOUNTAINS: A VOYAGE THROUGH SONG (2021), and in 2024, Myles was the Post Supervisor on the Independent Feature Film TWO UGLY PEOPLE.

Since 2016, Myles has been collaborating with writing partner Lucas Bradley on a number of film and television projects. Their stories focus on creating uniquely strong protagonists, within the thriller genre.
